MILTON RESNICK

Milton Resnick (1917-2004) was a Ukrainian-born American abstract expressionist painter. He attended the American Artists School and became associated with the New York School of Abstract Expressionists. Resnick's paintings were characterized by bold brushstrokes, dense layers of pigment, and a wide range of colors. Recent exhibitions include solo shows at Miguel Abreu Gallery, Cheim & Read, and The Milton Resnick and Pat Passlof Foundation, as well as group shows at GAMeC, Museo Thyssen-Bornemisz and Fundacion Caja, and the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.

MASSINISSA SELMANI

Massinissa Selmani is an Algerian artist who creates drawings that address contemporary and political issues by combining a documentary approach with fictional constructions and animations. His work often depicts exaggerated scenes that bear witness to the absurdity of human behavior. Selmani studied computer science in Algeria and graduated from the École supérieure des beaux-arts in Tours. His work has been exhibited at major museums and institutions, including the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the Dakar Biennial in Senegal, the Lyon Biennial in France, and the Modern Art Oxford in the UK. Selmani's work has received special recognition, including a special mention from the jury at the 56th Venice Biennale in 2015.

MANUEL GNAM

Manuel Gnam is a contemporary artist who explores the creation, dissemination, and presentation of images in the digital age. He uses embedded terminology to highlight the contradictions between tech-driven systems and the human need for artistic renewal. Gnam collaborates with Taslima Ahmed as part of the FLAME artist duo and co-edits the journal Art Against Art: Art Journal from Within Post-Market Culture.

MIMMO PALADINO

Mimmo Paladino, an Italian artist, is best known for his innovative work in painting and sculpture that combines traditional materials like bronze and marble with more unconventional materials such as tar and neon. Paladino has also worked in printmaking, drawing, and film, often integrating elements of myth, history, and nature. In the 1980s, Paladino gained international recognition, exhibiting in the Venice Biennale and Documenta in Kassel, Germany. He also created public sculptures for cities worldwide, including New York, Paris, and Rome. Paladino continues to create innovative works, exploring themes from ancient myth to contemporary politics. He has received numerous awards, including being appointed a Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic in 1997.
