Galerie Martin Janda

Galerie Martin Janda originated in 1992 as an alternative exhibition space founded by Martin Janda. Over time, its activities expanded to encompass a full-fledged gallery, and in October 1999, it relocated to its current location in Eschenbachgasse 11, situated in the heart of Vienna. The gallery's strategic position near the Wiener Secession, Academy of Fine Arts, Kunsthistorisches Museum, and Museumsquartier, as well as its proximity to four other renowned galleries, has contributed to the formation of a vibrant center for contemporary art and discourse.

At Galerie Martin Janda, the program is rooted in international contemporary art, embracing a wide range of mediums and artistic practices. The gallery's focus extends to conceptual art, painting, drawing, film/video, photography, sculpture, and installation, fostering a diverse selection of artistic expressions.
