For the past 25 years, Galerie Georges-Philippe & Nathalie Vallois has been at the forefront of promoting internationally renowned artists, forging a unique alliance between Contemporary art and New Realism. Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the gallery has earned a reputation for its ambitious exhibition program that brings together established and contemporary artists.
Over the years, Galerie Georges-Philippe & Nathalie Vallois has showcased the works of groundbreaking artists, often introducing them to the French audience for the first time. The gallery can proudly claim the honor of hosting the debut solo shows of influential artists such as Alain Bublex (1992), Paul McCarthy (1994), Gilles Barbier (1995), Henrique Oliveira (2011), Pierre Seinturier (2014), and more recently, the Iranian duo Peybak (2015), Cuban artist Lázaro Saavedra (2016), John DeAndrea, and Zhenya Machneva (2018), as well as Robert Cottingham and Tomi Ungerer (2019).
March 2023 marked a new chapter in the gallery's history with the inauguration of a new space in New York City, in collaboration with Galerie 1900-2000. Located at 1018 Madison Avenue, this exciting venture brings the gallery's distinct vision and curated exhibitions to an international audience. To kick off this new chapter, the gallery's inaugural show titled "Upcycling" focuses on Nouveau Réalisme, showcasing the movement's innovative and transformative works.
