Biography of Ulla von Brandenburg 

Ulla von Brandenburg was born in 1974 in Karlsruhe, Germany. Currently, the artist lives and works in Paris, France.

From 1995 to 1998, she studied Scenography and Media Art at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design in Karlsruhe. Later, from 1998 to 2004, she attended Hochschule für bildende Künste in Hamburg. 

In 2004, Ulla von Brandenburg completed her Diploma at Hochschule für bildende Künste. Since 2016, she has held Professorship at the Academy for Fine Arts Karlsruhe. 

Ulla von Brandenburg was a finalist for the 2016 Marcel Duchamp Prize. She has also received grants from various organizations, including Kulturkreis Finkenwerder e.V. (Hamburg), Kunsthalle Bremen, Cité des Arts (Paris), Jürgen-Ponto-Stiftung (Frankfurt/Main), Künstlerstätte Schloss Bleckede (Lüneburg, Germany), and Ditze Stiftung (Rosengarten, Germany).
