Mujin-to Production

Mujin-to Production is a Tokyo-based gallery that was founded in 2006 in the Koenji area. Initially, the gallery's main focus was to promote artists who pursued remarkable activities and expressions. As the gallery expanded, it moved to Kiyosumi Shirakawa in March 2010 and then to Kotobashi, Sumida-ku, Tokyo in 2019.

The gallery manages artists and artist collectives, all of whom are capable of manifesting themselves to society and creating relations with people, inviting the audience to see society's different faces through their art. The gallery works primarily with emerging and mid-career artists from Japan, who visualize their keen observations and reflections on contemporary society and history through their expression.

The gallery's mission is to engage with all aspects of society in close partnership with these "all distinctive" artists. In addition to exhibitions at the gallery, Mujin-to Production also organizes many exhibitions outside the gallery, depending on the concept of the work. The gallery has also produced many artist products, such as books and DVDs, to introduce the artists' vision. The concept of the exhibition at the gallery starts from the production of the DM.
