Greta Meert Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located in Brussels, Belgium. The gallery was founded in 1988 by Greta Meert.

Galerie Greta Meert: Diverse Program of Influential Artists

From its inception, the gallery has consistently emphasized Minimal and Conceptual Art as one of its primary focuses. The significance of photography in conceptual strategies has also been substantial interest in the programming of the gallery throughout the years.

In 1988, Galerie Greta Meert made its debut with an international exhibition featuring the works of Thomas Struth, followed by showcases of artists such as Robert Mangold, Richard Tuttle, Louise Lawler, John Baldessari, and Hanne Darboven. 

Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, the gallery continued to expand its program, highlighting the works of artists such as Carl Andre, Robert Barry, Jef Geys, Peter Joseph, Shirley Jaffe, Sol LeWitt, and many more. Additionally, Galerie Greta Meert played a significant role in rediscovering and showcasing the works of an older generation of Italian artists who had been eclipsed by the Arte Povera movement.

In more recent years, the gallery has also dedicated itself to nurturing a younger generation of Belgian and international artists who align with its distinctive artistic identity and historical perspective. This commitment is exemplified by the inclusion of artists such as Eric Baudelaire, Iñaki Bonillas, Nathalie Du Pasquier, Liam Everett, Johannes Esper, Valerie Krause, Anne Neukamp, Johannes Wald, as well as Belgian artists Edith Dekyndt, Sophie Nys, Koen Van den Broek, Catharina van Eetvelde, and Pieter Vermeersch.
